Our experts continually engaged in shaping and promoting the Working Family Tax Cuts contained in One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) in the first half of 2025.
In print and broadcast media, NTU scholars emphasized the importance of maintaining key provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act while also making new improvements to the tax code. NTU especially praised pro-growth provisions like full expensing.
Experts from NTU also recognized fiscal shortcomings in the tax bill and pushed for responsible reforms to the federal budget during and after its passage.
