Disgraced IMF headDominique Strauss-Kahn’s Severance Package Partially Funded by U.S. Taxpayers

To add insult to injuryto American taxpayers, recently resigned IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn’sseverance package will be paidin large part by American taxpayers, since the U.S. is the biggestcontributor to the IMF. Strauss-Kahn’s “Golden Parachute” will totalapproximately $250,000. U.S. lawmakers are upset but admit that nothing canprevent the severance payment from moving forward, and the IMF stated it had‘no discretion’ over the deal when signed in 2007.

The growing amount ofaged and elderly inmates has increasedthe costs of healthcare in prisons, burdening taxpayers. Some employees saythat inmates receive better medical treatment inside the prison than they wouldon the outside.
