Mattie Duppler

Mattie Duppler is a Senior Fellow at the National Taxpayers Union. She is also the Founder and President of Forward Strategies, a strategic consulting firm.

As the former Coalitions Director for the House Republican Conference, Mattie is a skilled relationship builder. Serving in that role until 2016, she focused on modernizing partnerships between the hill and third party allies as well as reaching new, diverse audiences.  Prior to her role at the House Republican Conference, Mattie served as the Director of Budget and Regulatory Policy at Americans for Tax Reform where she was the first woman in the firm to gain the title of Director in a policy position. She also served as the Executive Director of ATR’s Cost of Government Center, which focuses on reducing government spending and fighting excessive regulation. Mattie increased ATR's earned media exposure by over 100 percent.

A highly skilled communicator, Mattie has been a frequent panelist and featured speaker at events nationwide. She was a regular commentator on MSNBC, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, CNN and has been a recurring guest on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. Her work has appeared in outlets such as NPR, BBC, Forbes, and POLITICO. She has received recognition as a leader in her field, being named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2015 and the Red Alert Politics Thirty Under Thirty list in 2014.

A native of Appleton, Wisconsin, Mattie earned bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008.
