Vote With the Economy in Mind

While President Trump is not on the ballot next week, voters are returning to the polls just two years after his victory took the Washington establishment by surprise under economic circumstances that look quite a bit different.

Despite the fact that the green eyeshade wearers in Washington declared the recession “over” in 2009, the economic recovery was both too slow and uneven for the average American to feel secure for years following. This is why as candidate for president, Donald Trump was able to offer an economic vision to areas of the country who felt left behind by the political class over the previous decade.
