"It's extremely disappointing that the House was unable to pass legislation this week to repeal and replace Obamacare. Until House Republicans can unite behind a plan to scrap the disastrous law and replace it with market-based solutions, Obamacare will continue to distort health insurance markets, raise the price of care, and impose unfair burdens on taxpayers. The American Health Care Act would certainly have taken the first step toward repealing and replacing Obamacare, but there are other credible options for reform that could be considered. Congress should continue to explore all opportunities to repeal Obamacare within the guidelines and limitations demanded by the reconciliation process," stated NTU’s Executive Vice President, Brandon Arnold.
