The Orange County Register featured an op-ed on the Free Sugar Act (legislation endorsed by NTU). The piece sheds light on the history of sugar tariffs and supports that is costing consumers money and additional choices today.
Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA) apparently drew some questioning for stating income tax distribution data that demonstrates the severe burden on the top 50% of income earners in the U.S., but NTU was there to verify his claims.
Senators Mike Crapo (R-ID) and Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) as well as Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO) received some well deserved attention for winning Taxpayers’ Friend awards from NTU.
