This week has been busy for the NTU Foundation as we continue researching the Congressional bills that affect you. Issue 7 offers taxpayers, policy experts, citizens, and advocates a glimpse into government worker pay raises, the future of the American manufacturing sector, and diversity grants on golf courses. We make sure each week's Tab highlights sponsors and cosponsors from across the nation, with this week stretching from New England to the South and rounding out in a Frontier-Midwest state.
Here are the bills the included in the August 17th Issue of the Taxpayer's Tab:
- S. 3090/H.R. 1961, A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand the availability of the saver's credit and to make the credit refundable
- H.R. 5382, To provide for a temporary freeze on the pay of civilian employees of the Federal Government
- H.R. 4692/S. 3662, National Manufacturing Strategy Act
- H.R. 5878, Economic Fair Treatment and Job Creation Act
