Over the past few months, the Taxpayer’s Tab has provided snapshots of NTUF’s ongoing research into how Members of Congress want to spend your tax dollars by looking at the legislation that they sponsor and cosponsor. Today’s Tab pulls together all of tour research to give taxpayers a more complete picture of the 111th Congress.
The BillTally Quarterly Report in the Taxpayer’s Tab includes:
- A progress report detailing how many bills NTUF has scored
- Detailed information on both the House and Senate including total spending agendas, party break-down, and average bills introduced.
- Listings of the top spending increase and spending cut bills in each chamber
- An updated total cost savings list using BillTally information
Throughout the weekend, NTUF’s Twitter feed will supply followers with member highlights and data points. However, the best way for taxpayers to be informed and up-to-date on all the latest NTUF research is to subscribe to the Taxpayer’s Tab, support NTUF, and forward to friends. Through your help, our research can reach more people interested in how the government spends their money.
