NTUF Looks at Legislation from October 2011

Did you miss this week's issue of NTUF's Taxpayer's Tab?  If so, here's a quick recap.

This week, NTUF offers a snapshot of the research conducted in October.

  • During the month of October, NTUF analysts analyzed 355 bills -- 208 were House bills, while 147 were Senate bills.

  • Net federal spending would decrease by approximately $11.1 billion annually, if all of the House bills scored by NTUF in October were enacted.

  • The 147 Senate bills scored last month would cut federal spending by approximately $42.8 billion annually, if all of the bills were enacted.

Each month NTUF updates its list of spending cut bills.  The full spreadsheet, containing 170 bills, can be accessed here.
