"If taxpayers were participating in the countdown of this rocket, it would be 3-2-1 rip off," said Pete Sepp President of the National Taxpayers Union.
Sepp also points out that most reports on taxpayer waste come from Republicans, who are in charge of both houses of Congress, and asks why more hasn't been done to stop the wasteful spending.
"Part of the problem here is there's a lot of talk about government waste but very little action being taken they're the ones in charge they should be able to deliver on it," Sepp said.
