As someone born and raised in Reno and with family sprawled all over the Silver State, when I saw New York and California politicians pushing to repeal the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction cap in the upcoming infrastructure package, I was concerned. This change would largely benefit our high-tax neighbors — California and Oregon — and make Nevada less economically competitive.
