National Taxpayers Union (NTU) would like to thank all United States Senators who stood up for freer markets and limited government by passing Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) this afternoon. Expanded international commerce and lower tariffs are crucial to America’s continued economic vitality. Recognizing that over 95 percent of the world’s consumers live outside the United States, NTU has strongly supported efforts to pass TPA, which will pave the way for future trade agreements with allies all over the globe.
