Senator Ted Cruz proposed eventually abolishing the IRS at a recent GOP event. The senator has long supported the fair tax, and is now advocating that system as a vehicle for downsizing or even eliminating the IRS.

Senators Mike Lee and Justin Amash introduced legislation Friday to repeal the Export-Import Bank, which has recently come under fire for subsidizing failed business models (a loan to solar panel company Solyndra is just one such example).
