Tell the Senate: Pass the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act

The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act (TRAFWA) passed the House of Representatives on January 31, 2024, with an overwhelming bipartisan vote. The legislation now faces a vote in the Senate, where it’s imperative to ensure this much-needed legislation garners the support it deserves.

Tell your Senator to support the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act, which will be a tax policy win for American taxpayers and businesses everywhere. TRAFWA expands the Child Tax Credit in a fiscally-responsible manner, and will promote economic growth and business investment in the United States.

As NTU Executive Vice President Brandon Arnold said upon TRAFWA’s passage in the House of Representatives,

This is a great achievement for taxpayers. We have a long way to go to make the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent, but this is an enormous first step toward that goal. Speaker Johnson and Chairman Smith should be commended for their leadership on behalf of taxpayers and we look forward to working with members of the Senate to get this package to the president's desk.
