Does the IRS Owe You Money?
Almost 100,000 Americans are missing out on more than $150 million in tax refunds they're legally owed—are YOU one of them?
Every year, thousands of income tax refund checks are returned to the IRS as undeliverable, because the taxpayer has moved, changed his or her name, or simply because the check has an incomplete or improper address. The following database, provided as a public service by the National Taxpayers Union, allows you to quickly find out if you or your loved ones have an unclaimed refund. If you do, you'll be instructed to contact the IRS and arrange for receipt of your money. The most current data available pertains to Tax Year 2010 (returns filed in 2011).
Please remember that National Taxpayers Union is not authorized to deliver your tax refund -- only the IRS is able to do so.
