Wyoming
NTU has over 1,100 members in Wyoming, one of the most economically competitive states in the country. Wyoming levies no tax on personal or corporate income, nor does it have a death tax. As a result, Wyoming’s personal income growth per capita was the nation’s highest between 1997 and 2007. As in other low-tax states, tax increases are always a threat as tax takers look to squeeze more money out of the taxpayers. Check back to our Wyoming page often for more information on state and local taxpayer groups, our work on behalf of taxpayers in the state, and contact information for your lawmakers.
