Today’s Taxpayer News!

As the fight to defund Obamacare heats up, NTU’s Brandon Arnold writes this piece for the Washington Times, warning conservatives not to forget a crucial budget concern - preserving the spending caps achieved by the Budget Control Act in 2011.

The Regulations from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act passed the House by a healthy margin last week. The legislation, would require Congress to hold a timely up-or-down vote on every executive rule that would impact the economy by $100 million or more.

Rep. Jeb Hensarling joined the NTU podcast, Speaking of Taxpayers, last week to discuss the much-needed reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac!
