NTUF Adds Veteran Tax Analyst Nicole Kaeding as Vice President of Policy Promotion and Economist

The National Taxpayers Union Foundation has hired Nicole Kaeding as Vice President of Policy Promotion, where she will also serve as an in-house economist working on tax and budget issues at the federal and state level.

“I am excited to join the National Taxpayers Union Foundation,” Kaeding said. “For years, I have admired NTUF’s principled, pragmatic research on some of the most important issues of the day, including reforming federal and state tax codes, improving the federal budget process, and defending free trade.”

Kaeding is a longtime veteran of tax policy research and analysis. She has worked at the Cato Institute and Americans for Prosperity Foundation, and most recently was the Vice President of Federal and Special Projects at the Tax Foundation. She has testified or presented to officials in 17 states and in front of Congress.

“Nicole Kaeding adds a long and accomplished history of working for taxpayers through research and education, and we are thrilled to have her,” said NTUF Executive Vice President Andrew Moylan. “Her expertise will be vital to increasing the impact of NTUF’s research, and we’re excited to benefit from her skills.”

Kaeding graduated from DePaul University with a M.S. in Economic Policy Analysis and holds undergraduate degrees from Miami University in both Finance and Political Science. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and more.
