National Taxpayers Union (NTU) and National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTUF) are pleased to announce Michael D. (Mike) Fryt and Brandon Peck have joined the Board of Directors that presided over both organizations.
Mike Fryt is past Corporate (senior) Vice President of Tax at FedEx Corporation in Memphis, Tennessee, where he had responsibility for the global tax affairs of the company, until his retirement in 2014. Mike has been an outspoken advocate for U.S. business tax reform, speaking and writing on the topic numerous times over the past ten years. He believes in fiscally responsible reform that will strengthen the U.S. economy, create jobs, and make the U.S. globally more competitive.
“I am honored to have been named to the Boards of the NTU and the NTU Foundation. I admire these organizations for their dedication to the ideal of less government interference in the responsible personal and business activities of the people of this country. I look forward to working with them on the many important issues facing us today, such as business tax reform, which, addressed properly, can make our country better and stronger," said Mike Fryt.
Brandon Peck serves as Director at Flywheel Government Solutions, based in Washington, DC. Brandon's understanding of the political landscapes, public policy trends and how these trends impact private markets helps his clients stay informed and furthermore helps his clients understand how such trends can affect their respective businesses. In addition to his involvement with a variety of trade and political organizations, Brandon also serves on the the National Finance Committee for the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association.
