Katie Watson is the Vice President of Operations and Finance for the National Taxpayers Union and the National Taxpayers Union Foundation, where she leads the operations and financial management for both organizations. She is a strategic non-profit leader with a history of building impactful and efficient operations.

Previously, Katie was the Vice President of Operations for The PenFed Foundation. She also has an extensive background in development, including time at the National Army Museum, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. Katie has also specialized in grant making and compliance. 

Katie holds a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College, in Bronxville, New York, and a master’s degree in comparative literature from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. In 2023, Katie earned a certificate in non-profit management from Duke University. 

Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Katie has lived across the country but now calls Alexandria, Virginia, home.
