Campaign Studies

For over ten years, NTUF has analyzed the fiscal policy platforms of candidates running in select House, Senate, and Presidential races. The studies compile all of the candidates' key proposals, in their own words -- as outlined on their websites, in their official campaign documents, and touted in speeches -- into a full line-by-line list. By cross-referencing these plans with equivalent bills in Congress, proposals scored in NTUF’s BillTally system, items in the federal budget, and a variety of other independent sources, NTUF builds a comprehensive picture of the bottom line impact of the candidates’ spending agendas.
