North Dakota
We have more than 1,000 members in North Dakota, a state with a reputation for low taxes and small government. It’s losing that battle with its neighbor to the south, however, as South Dakota currently levies no income tax on its residents. While North Dakota can become more competitive by doing the same, it has a recent legacy of tax cuts and modest spending growth. We at NTU are working to continue that trend. Be sure to check back often to our North Dakota page for more information on state and local taxpayer groups, our work on behalf of North Dakota taxpayers, and contact information for your lawmakers.
