Missouri
NTU has nearly 7,300 members in Missouri invested in the cause of liberty. As the United States gradually pulls itself out of recession, it is important to remember the cause of state budget crises: overspending. As revenues begin to normalize, the Show Me State must resist the urge to spending more in times of prosperity. Instead, Missouri will need to keep taxes low and encourage economic growth. NTU remains engaged in promoting this type of sound budgeting in Missouri and across the country.
