Minnesota
NTU has over 7,000 members in Minnesota committed to lowering the state’s tax burden and reducing the size of government. Minnesota has put the lid on spending growth lately, but still has more work to do on the tax side. The sales tax is too high; taxes on business and job creation are too high; the personal income tax is too progressive and too high. NTU remains committed to tax reform and a more accountable state government in Minnesota. Be sure to check back here for more information on state and local taxpayer groups, our work on behalf of taxpayers in the state, and contact information for your lawmakers.
