Several weeks ago, NTU held the 2nd Annual Taxpayers’ Friend Award reception to honor those legislators who received an “A” on our 2013 Rating of Congress. Friends and allies from across the free-market movement both on and off the Hill turned out to congratulate the winners and hear from the top-scorers in the Senate and House: Senator Jeff Flake and Representative Tom McClintock, who had the best grade in the House for the 2nd year in a row.
Throughout the evening, despite their packed schedules, Congressmen stopped in to receive their awards, visit with other guests, and enjoy the amazing view of the Capitol.
