a chance to be interviewed on our popular blog!
Enter by January 20th at 7 p.m. Eastern

Want to double your chance to win? After you enter your guess, tell us your policy concerns by filling out our Taxpayer Survey. It’s only 10 questions and your input really helps us defend your tax dollars.

Prize Details: Winners will be offered a choice in books from NTU Foundation’s library, a kit with taxpayer materials produced by NTU and Foundation, and/or the opportunity for a NTU Foundation staffer to profile the winner by asking a series of questions and writing a blog post on Government Bytes. Offers will be made to those with guesses to the final cost estimate, as determined by NTU Foundation staff. Subsequent offers will be made to others as we receive responses.

Contest Details: Winners will be based on how close they guess to the final net total that will appear in a line-by-line report by NTU Foundation. By participating in the general entry form (above), individuals will be entered to win prizes once. They will receive an additional full entry by completely filling out the Taxpayer Survey. All questions must be filled out or additional entries will be invalidated. NTU Foundation reserves the right to count or discount entries based on the accuracy of entrants, the accuracy of contact information, and the genuineness of survey responses. NTU Foundation will also determine the number of total winners, based on total guesses and how many close guesses are made.

SOTU Address Cost Details: After the speech on January 20, NTU Foundation will determine the total net cost of the Address in terms of changes in budgetary outlays. The methodology used to score SOTU proposals is that of NTUF’s BillTally project, which scores every introduced bill in Congress for changes in the federal budget.
