Delaware SCORECARD

NTU’s more than 1,000 Delaware members can be grateful for one thing: their proximity to the fiscal incompetence of New Jersey and Maryland. The First State is an attractive location comparatively speaking, with sales and property taxes among the nation’s lowest, and no death tax. However, the lack of a Right to Work provision and a high corporate income tax serve as impediments to job growth. By tackling these issues, Delaware has the opportunity to serve as a bastion of economic growth and prosperity in the struggling Northeast. Be sure to check back to our Delaware page often for information on state and local taxpayer groups, our work on behalf of taxpayers in the state, and contact information for your lawmakers.
