Connecticut SCORECARD

NTU has over 4,600 members in Connecticut dedicated to lower taxes and a smaller, more accountable government. Unfortunately, the Constitution State does a poor job of living up to its moniker, with state government growing larger year after year, infringing on the freedom and prosperity of its people. Connecticut’s combined state and local tax burden is the 3rd highest in the country, up 21 places over the past 30 years. Be sure to check back to our Connecticut page often for information on state and local taxpayer groups, our work on behalf of taxpayers in the state, and contact information for your legislators.
